Please join us as producer and director Jayne McKay holds a special screening of this documentary that won the 2008 Western Writers of America Spur Award for Best Documentary. Miles Swarthout is doing a presentation on portions of the 1976 movie, "The Shootist" starring John Wayne. Based on the 1975 novel by Glendon Swarthout, Miles co-wrote the screenplay for the movie.
