Advertised in 1957 by Chevrolet as "sweet, smooth and sassy" this Bel Air Sport Coupe two door hardtop is finished in classic Tropical Turquoise, with a black interior and bench seats. The Bel Air Sport Coupe has a 283 cubic inch, 162 horse power V8, with a 3-speed automatic transmission. This car is "nearly cherry," but with new paint, aluminum custom wheels, and new belts and hoses to help it purr.

FACTOIDS: The stylized "V" underneath the "Chevrolet" hood logo indicates this Bel Air packs a powerful V8 engine. In 1957, Chevrolet produced 166,426 Bel Air Sport Coupes and were originally sold for $2299. 1957 was the final year of the "shoe box" Chevrolet, along with its ideal size and relatively light weight, the '57 Chevy Bel Air was popular among drag racers in the 1960s and '70s.
