Photographic Services - General Information

The Buffalo Bill Historical Center offers photographic services and historical images for a wide variety of academic, personal, and commercial uses. These applications serve a diverse range of media. Images of our historical photographs and collection objects are available for publication, television and movie production, products, research, and personal use. Historical footage (film and video) from our collection is also available for television and movie production.

All photographic work is limited to the collections of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. Turn-around of photography may take up to 4-6 weeks - please allow adequate time for your requests.

Reproduction Fees and Use Fees are structured depending on the intended use of the image, and in what format the images are provided. Reproduction images require a Use Agreement & Contract; please review the image use fee schedule for information regarding fee structure.

The image use fees listed are based on existing photography. If an object has not been photographed by Buffalo Bill Historical Center photo staff, an additional fee is added to the normal use fee.
